What was the main reason Lick was closed down? Is anyone planning to re-open another dyke bar somewhere else?
The main reason Lick closed down was because The Mark James Group that owned the Lotus building (which housed Lick, Honey and Lotus) sold it to a new developer. As it stands there is no new dyke bar opening up in the near future (although there really should be! hmmmm… ) but there are several options for girls around the city such as Flygirl events (www.flygirlproductions) and Junction on Davie St. is always a great place to go any day of the week.
